Minor IAS Reshuffle In Odisha: Usha Padhee Appointed As Principal Secy To Govt

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Government on Friday effected a minor reshuffle in the state IAS cadre.

According to a notification issued by the General Administration and Pension Grievance Department, 1996-batch IAS officer Usha Padhee on her return from Central deputation has been appointed as Principal Secretary to Government, Skill Development and Technical Education Department. Padhee will be holding the additional charge of Principal Secretary to the Government, Commerce & Transport Department.

1995-batch IAS officer Hemant Sharma, Principal Secretary to Government, Industries Department with an additional charge of Skill Development & Technical Education Department, Chairman, IPICOL and Chairman, IDCO is appointed as Principal Secretary to Government, Industries Department.

“He is allowed to remain in an additional charge of Chairman, IPICOL and Chairman, IDCO,” the notification stated.

Similarly, Bishnupada Sethi, Principal Secretary to Government, Higher Education Department with the additional charge of Principal Secretary to Government, Commerce & Transport Department is appointed as Principal Secretary to Government, Higher Education Department.

The additional appointment of Sharma as Principal Secretary to Government, Skill Development & Technical Education Department and Sethi as Principal Secretary to Government, Commerce & Transport Department shall stand terminated from the date Padhee takes over, the notification further added.
