MP Woman Jumps on Police Car Bonnet to Stop Son’s Arrest, Dragged for Half Km

Bhopal: In an attempt to stop the police from arresting her son, a woman in Madhya Pradesh’s Narsinghpur jumped on the bonnet of a police vehicle. The cops did not stop and drove the car to the police station half a kilometre away.

The incident occurred in Gotegaon area of Narsinghpur on Monday. The police were taking the woman’s son, an alleged drug peddler, into custody when the woman, a flower seller of the area, intervened.

She jumped on the police vehicle’s bonnet and refused to let go. Instead of stopping, the policemen drove all the way to the police station, located 500 metres away, with the woman still clung to the bonnet.

This incident was recorded by locals, who shared clips on social media. When the video of the incident went viral on social media, the Madhya Pradesh government suspended three police personnel in relation to the incident.
