100 Per Cent Voting Before 10 AM in Naxal Area Booth in Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal: Cent per cent voting was recorded at a polling booth in the naxal-infested Balaghat Lok Sabha constituency of Madhya Pradesh before 10 AM on Friday in the first phase of Lok Sabha polls.

This unique booth is located in the remote forest village of Duglai under Roopjhar police station limits in the extremely Maoist-infested area.

This booth has 80 registered voters. All of them cast their votes between 7 AM and 10 AM.

While this booth recorded cent per cent polling by 10 am, around 15 per cent polling was recorded in Madhya Pradesh by 11.30 AM.
