Two Employees Drown in Well During Violent Attack on Toll Plaza in Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal: Two employees of a toll plaza in Madhya Pradesh drowned in a well while trying to save life during an attack by masked gunmen over a toll tax dispute.

The bodies of Agra’s Srinivas Parihar and Nagpur’s Shivaji Kandele were recovered from the well on Wednesday.

According to police sources, this armed attack on the Dagrai toll plaza on National Highway 44 occurred at around 10 pm on Tuesday.

The CCTV footage shows masked men on four bikes come to the toll booths. They then start kicking at the doors of toll counters and barge into some booths. The attackers damaged the computers and beat up the toll plaza employees.

Some employees ran to the nearby field to save their lives, while the assailants chased them firing in the air. Whiel running in the field, Parihar and Kandele fell into an uncovered well and drowned.
