Shocking! Mumbai Man Arrested for Having Sex with Stray Dog

Mumbai: Mitlesh Das (45) was arrested by personnel of Amboli police station for allegedly having unnatural sex with a stray dog in Mumbai’s Andheri area. His unnatural sexual act with the dog near Balaji Telefilms, Veera Desai Road, Andheri was noticed by a woman, who informed the police about it.

A case has been registered under Section 377 of the IPC and section 11(1)(1)(a) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act 1960, against the arrested man.

In the recent past, similar incidents of sexual harassment of dogs by humans have come to the fore from different parts of the country. In November 2022, a similar incident was reported from Mumbai. A food delivery man accused of raping a stray dog was arrested.

On March 8 this year, a stray dog was allegedly raped by an unknown man in Patna’s Faisal Colony under Phulwari Sharif police station.

In February this year, a video clip of an unidentified accused raping a stray dog at a park in the Hari Nagar area of New Delhi had come to fore.

A few days back a 60-year-old man from Chouhati Payarabagan area of Sonarpur police station of South 24 Parganas in West Bengal was arrested on charges of raping his pet dog for two years at his home.
