Mysterious Chinese Woman Sparks Security Alert during Dalai Lama’s Bodh Gaya Visit

Patna: During the visit of the Dalai Lama to Bodh Gaya in Bihar, a security alert has been issued in this holy city of Buddhists since Thursday. Police is searching for a mysterious Chinese woman, an official said.

Police have issued a sketch of this Chinese woman and have also shared the details of her passport with the media. This woman is identified as one Song Xiaolan.

But till now it is not clear why Bihar police are in search of this woman during the visit of the Dalai Lama to Bodh Gaya.

Meanwhile, security has been tightened in and around the Mahabodhi Temple Complex in Bodh Gaya. All devotees coming to the place are being thoroughly checked.

The Dalai Lama addressed a gathering here in the morning.
