Naba Das Assassination: Justice JP Das, DGP Bansal Visit Crime Spot

Jharsuguda: Orissa High Court’s Retired Justice JP Das visited the crime spot at Brajarajnagar in Jharsuguda district on Wednesday. Justice JP Das is monitoring the ongoing Crime Branch probe into the murder of Health Minister Naba Kishore Das.

He reached Jharsuguda on Tuesday and inspected the crime spot near Gandhi Chowk along with Crime Branch ADG Arun Bothra. he also looked into the progress made in the probe into the murder so far. The Crime Branch ADG briefed him about different aspects of the investigation.

Justice JP Das has already expressed his satisfaction with the investigation being conducted by the Crime Branch. “Recreating the crime scene on Tuesday will help in the investigation and the probe is moving on the right track, I hope that it will reach its logical conclusion,” said Justice Das.

Odisha DGP Sunil Kumar Bansal also visited the crime spot with senior officials. He reached Jharsuguda on Tuesday along with Director of Intelligence Sanjeev Panda and ADG (Law&Order) RK Sharma. He also looked into the progress made in the investigation.
