Newly Married Couple Dies of Heart Attack on Wedding Night in UP

Lucknow: A newly-married couple was found dead in a room on their wedding night in Bahraich of Uttar Pradesh. The post-mortem report of both the groom and bride hinted that both died of cardiac arrest.

The deceased couple had got married on May 30. They were Pratap Yadav(2) and Pushpa Yadav (22).

The newly married couple went to sleep in their room. On the next morning, they were found dead. They were cremated on the same pyre. According to police sources, their post-mortem report that came in on Saturday evening confirmed that they had died due to heart attack.

The room where the couple had slept had no ventilation facility and ceiling fan. There were no signs of forced entry into the room or injury marks on the couple’s body. So, the possibility of a criminal angle was ruled out.

Yet viscera of both bodies have been preserved for further examination at the State Forensic Science Laboratory in Lucknow.
