No Entry To Taj Mahal Without Covid-19 Testing

New Delhi: In the wake of a sharp surge in COVID-positive cases in China and other countries, the authorities have directed that domestic and foreign tourists have to undergo a COVID-19 test before their visit to the Taj Mahal in Agra.

According to reports, domestic and foreign tourists come every day in large numbers to visit the Taj Mahal in Agra.

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had cautioned that the pandemic is not over yet and directed officials to strengthen surveillance measures at a high-level meeting on Thursday to review the government’s COVID-19 preparedness.

Ahead of picnic season, new year celebrations and FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup, Odisha’s Puri Jagannath temple is going to see thousands of devotees flocking to the pilgrimage town. And taking into consideration this regard, the Odisha government is likely to introduce the same COVID guidelines.
