Noida Cloth factory Used for MDMA Narcotics Production; 3 Foreigners Arrested

New Delhi: A cloth factory used to manufacture the expensive narcotics MDMA was unearthed by the police in Greater Noida, neighbouring Delhi.

Drugs and raw materials worth Rs 150 crore were seized along with arrest of three foreigners.  MDMA also known as Ecstasy (3, 4-methylenedioxy-N-methamphetamine) is a drug that is illegally made. It is a stimulant drug that can cause hallucinations.

The accused were hiding the drugs in bundles of cloth to smuggle them to Mumbai, the northern states, Nepal and Bangladesh, said the police officials.

According to police sources, around 50 kg of drugs, with an estimated value of approximately Rs 450 crore, have been seized in Greater Noida in the past 15 days.
