Nursing Student Found Hanging In Hostel Room In Jajpur

Jajpur: The body of a second-year nursing girl student of Xavier Nursing College in Jajpur district was found hanging in a hostel room on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Nibedita Sahoo, daughter of one Nanda Kishore Sahoo of Dhusuri area in Bhadrak district.

According to reports, the matter came to the fore after the college authorities found Nibedia hanging inside her hostel room and immediately rushed her to Jajpur Road community health centre.

However, she was declared brought dead by the doctors at the hospital.

Meanwhile, family members of the deceased lodged an FIR suspecting foul play behind her death.

On being informed about the incident, the Jajpur Road police reached the spot and started an investigation into the matter.
