Over 11 Killed As Bus Fell into Gorge in Maharashtra’s Raigad

Raigad (Maharashtra): At least eleven people lost their lives and more than 25 persons got injured after a private bus fell into a gorge in the Khopoli area of Raigad district of Maharashtra on Saturday.

As per police officials, the private bus was traveling from Pune to Mumbai when it fell into the gorge on the old Mumbai-Pune highway.

The officials informed us that there were around 40-45 passengers on the bus. The rescue operation is currently underway.

On being informed, police reached the spot and rescued the injured. The injured were immediately rushed to nearby hospitals. The cops have also initiated a probe into the matter.
