Over 1kg Of Brown Sugar Seized In Bhubaneswar, One Held

Bhubaneswar: The special task force officials have seized more than 1 kg of brown sugar and arrested a man in this regard in the state capital Bhubaneswar.

The accused has been identified as Chittaranjan Sahoo of Dinabandhuur under Dhenkanal Sadar police limits.

Acting on a tip-off, the cops conducted a raid and arrested the accused and seized brown sugar weighing 1.11 gms from his possession.

In this connection, STF has registered a case and is investigating further.

The special drive against narcotic drugs is continuing. Since 2020, STF has seized more than 69 Kg of Brown Sugar/Heroin, 202 Gram Cocaine and more than 113 quintals of Ganja/Marijuana, Opium 750 gram and arrested more than 168 drug dealers/peddlers.
