In an astonishing revelation, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) has confirmed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not taken a single day off during his nine-year tenure as India’s Prime Minister.
Responding to a recent Right to Information (RTI) query filed by Prafful P Sarda on July 31, 2023, the PMO stated that since taking office in May 2014, PM Modi has been tirelessly dedicated to his role, attending over 3,000 events.
This revelation has garnered significant attention on social media platforms, with netizens sharing screenshots of the RTI response widely.

This isn’t the first time such information has come to light. Back in December 2015, a similar RTI application revealed that Prime Minister Modi had not taken any leave during his first term in office. The recent response, however, encompasses his entire nine-year tenure, reaffirming his uninterrupted dedication to the nation.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah also highlighted PM Modi’s remarkable work ethic, noting that he had not taken leave for two decades since assuming public office in 2001. This further emphasizes the Prime Minister’s unparalleled dedication to his role.
