PM Modi To Hold Delegation Level Talks With Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi Today

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit al-Hakim mosque and Heliopolis War Cemetery in Cairo today. This War Cemetery commemorates the memory of 3,727 Indian soldiers who died fighting in various campaigns in Egypt and Palestine in the First World War.

The Prime Minister will hold delegation-level talks with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and several agreements are likely to be signed following the talks.

Earlier, he received an enthusiastic welcome from members of the Indian community in Cairo. In his interaction with them, Mr Modi lauded the community for their contribution towards strengthening India-Egypt ties.
