President, PM, CM’s Pays Homage to Saheeds of 26/11 Terror Attack

Mumbai: President Droupadi Murmu paid tribute to the security personnel who lost their lives in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack.

She tweets, “On the anniversary of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, the nation remembers with gratitude all those we lost. We share the enduring pain of their loved ones and families. Nation pays homage to the security personnel who fought valiantly and made supreme sacrifice in the line of duty.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also paid tribute to the personnel. While giving a speech at Supreme Court on Constitutional Day, he said, “14 years ago when India was celebrating its Constitution and citizen’s rights, enemies of humanity carried out the biggest terror attack.”

Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Eknath Shinde also paid tribute to the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the attack.

Several other Chief Ministers and dignitaries of the country also paid homages to the martyrs of 26/11 terror attack. Thousands of people reached Gateway of India in Mumbai to remember the ghastly day and the bravehearts who laid down their lives to thwart the evil designs of the Pak terror group.  Fourteen years back, a group of Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists entered the financial capital of India, Mumbai, and stormed it for four consecutive days. The attack claimed the lives of 166 people, including foreigners.
