RRR’s Natu Natu Wins Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song

Indian blockbuster RRR directed by SS Rajamouli sparkled in the international movie arena by registering a win at the 80th Golden Globe Awards.

In the star-studded award ceremony in Los Angeles hosted by comedian Jerrod Carmichael, RRR’s Nantu Natu song won the Best Original Song prize.

RRR was also competing in the Best Non-English Language Film category. But it lost to Argentina, 1985, which was adjudged Best Non-English film by the Golden Globe jury.

RRR, starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan is based on the story of real-life freedom fighters Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitaramaraju. It is the first Indian film to win a Golden Globe.

Director Rajamouli, Jr NTR, and Ram Charan attended the Golden Globes award ceremony.
