Search & Destroy Operation Launched Against Perpetrators of Poonch Terror Attack

New Delhi: Indian Army initiated a massive operation on Friday to hunt down a group of around six to seven terrorists who are behind the Poonch terror attack in Kashmir in which five jawans of the Indian Army were martyred.

The Army and security agencies have ascertained that 6-7 terrorists operating in two groups in the Rajouri-Poonch sector were involved in this terror attack. This group was involved in the ambush of the Indian Army vehicle on Thursday.

Indian Army has launched multiple operations to track down and destroy the terror group. Multiple special forces involved in this operation are using drones and surveillance helicopters to search and destroy the terrorists. The Army, Police and Intelligence Agencies are coordinating the operations.

It is reported that Jaish-e-Mohammad supported terrorist organization, People’s Anti-Fascist Front (PAFF), has claimed responsibility for the attack. Some LeT terrorists were also involved in the attack. These terrorists are suspected to have infiltrated India from Pakistan.
