Speaker Orders 3 BJP MLAs Out of House following Ruckus in Delhi Assembly

New Delhi: Delhi Assembly’s budget session had a stormy start on Friday as the BJP and AAP MLAs shouted slogans against each other during Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena’s address to the house.

The opposition BJP lawmakers demanded the resignation of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for his involvement in the alleged corruption in the formulation and implementation of the now-scrapped excise policy. In retaliation, the ruling AAP legislators protested against the saffron party while the L-G began his address.

To control the chaos, Delhi Assembly Speaker Ram Niwas Goel ordered for marshalling out of three BJP MLAs from the house. Following it the L-G’s commenced his address again.
