Speeding Truck Mows 3 To Death In Sundargarh District

Sundargarh: A speeding truck crushed three youths to death on Sunday evening near Benjadhi bridge on National Highway 520 passing through Sundargarh district.

The deceased were identified as Debendra Dehuri, Anadi Nayak, and Anil Dehuri from the Toda Basti under the Kalta outpost of Koida police station limits.

The ill-fated youths were returning home when they were hit by a speeding Hyva at around 7 pm. All of them died on the spot. The driver of the accident causing truck absconded from the spot.

After the incident, the locals blocked the highway at the spot of the accident protesting against rising incidents of accidents in the region. The police have seized the truck and initiated an investigation.
