SSC CGL Announces Recruitment for 7500 Group B & C Posts

New Delhi: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released notification for holding the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination, 2023 for filling up Group B and Group C posts in different Ministries, Departments, and Organisations.

The submission of online applications commenced on April 3, 2023, and the last date to apply is May 3, 2023.

Vacancies and Reservation

There are approximately 7,500 vacancies. However, firm vacancies will be determined in due course. Updated vacancies, if any, along with post-wise & category-wise vacancies will be made available on the website of the Commission (https://ssc.nic.in> Candidate’s Corner > Tentative Vacancy) in due course.

Essential Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute.

Age limit (As of 01-08-2023)

The age limit is 18-27 years. However, age relaxation is permissible beyond the upper age limit for candidates belonging to reserved categories.

How to Apply

Applications must be submitted only in online mode at the website of SSC Headquarters i.e. https://ssc.nic.in.

Application Fee

The fee payable is Rs 100. However, women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of a fee.

Scheme of Examination

The Computer Based Examination will be conducted in two tiers-Tier-I and Tier II.
