Street Dog Menace: 3-Yr-Old Killed in Agra, 2 Children Injured in Agra & Kerala

New Delhi: A three-year-old child was attacked and killed by a pack of stray dogs in Kumargarh village in Agra. Another six-year-old girl was injured while trying to save the deceased girl.

The deceased child was playing near her home when she was attacked and dragged to a nearby field by a pack of street dogs. The other girl tried to save the girl, but failed. But she managed to escape to safety.

By the time the locals could chase away the killer dogs, the child had succumbed to the injuries.

In a similar incident, a five-year-old child named Sayan Mohammad was seriously injured by stray dogs in Nilambur in Kerala on Tuesday. He was attacked by the dogs at a distance of 50 m from his house.

Apart from children, some elderly persons are also becoming victims of stray dog attacks. On April 18, a retired doctor was killed by stray dogs while taking a walk on the Aligarh Muslim University campus.
