These Dignitaries Will Hoist Tricolor on I-Day in Diff Places of Odisha, Check List

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has declared the list of ministers and senior officials who will unfurl the National Flag at various district headquarters towns during the Independence Day celebration.

On August 15, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will hoist the flag and take salute at the state-level Independence Day celebration in Bhubaneswar.

Law Minister Jagannath Saraka will hoist the flag at Kandhamal, Health Minister Niranjan Pujari at Puri, Agriculture Minister Ranendra Pratap Swain at Koraput, Information and Public Relations Minister Pradip Kumar Amat at Ganjam, Revenue Minister Pramila Mallick at Bargarh and Urban Development Minister Usha Devi at Sambalpur.

Similarly, Works Minister Prafulla Mallick will be the chief guest of Independence Day celebration at Keonjhar, Industries Minister Pratap Keshari Dev at Angul, Higher Education Minister Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak at Rayagada, Water Resources Minister Tukuni Sahu at Jagatsinghpur, Science and Technology Minister Ashok Panda at Bolangir and Planning and Convergence Minister Rajendra Dholakia at Sundargarh.

As per the list issued by the state government, Finance Minister Bikram Keshari Arukha will hoist the flag at Cuttack, School and Mass Education Minister Sudam Marndi at Balasore, Labour Minister Sarada Prasad Nayak at Jharsuguda, Tourism Minister Aswini Kumar Patra at Mayurbhanj, Rural Development Minister Prtiranjan Gharai at Kalahandi, Sports Minister Tusharkanti Behera at Malkangiri, Handlooms Minister Rita Sahu at Sonepur and Women and Child Development Minister Basanti Hembram at Dhenkanal.

Revenue Divisional Commissioner (Southern Division) will hoist the flag in Berhampur while RDC (Northern Division) will do the same at Rourkela.

The collectors of Bhadrak, Boudh, Deogarh, Gajapati, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Khurda, Nuapada, Nabarangpur and Nayagarh will hoist the National Flag at their district-level celebrations.
