Three Involved in Khalistani Violence Arrested in Australia

Three Khalistan supporters were arrested by the Melbourne East Neighbourhood Policing Team in relation to the Khalistani violence at Federation Square in late January. This was stated by Australia’s Victoria Police on Thursday.

A fight had occurred in the presence of police at a Khalistan Referendum event at Federation Square on January 29. Two fights had broken out in the area, one at about 12.45 pm and the other at about 4.30 pm. Flag poles were used as weapons during the clash injuring multiple victims.

Two men were arrested on the day of the incident. Three more were arrested this week. The three arrested this week are, a 23-year-old man from Kalkallo, a 39-year-old man from Strathtulloh and a 36-year-old from Craigieburn, all three charged with affray and violent disorder, Victoria police said in a statement.
