Tractor Crashes Into House In Puri District, Driver Killed

Puri: A tractor driver died when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed it into a house at Dayavihar village in Kanas block of Puri district on Wednesday late night.

The deceased driver was identified as Bimbadhar Mahapatra of Gadasahi village under the Kanas police station limits.

As per reports, Bimbadhar was returning to his home when he rammed into the house after hitting a roadside shop.

Luckily, no one inside the house was injured in the accident.

Personnel of the Kanas police station seized the dead driver’s body and sent it to Puri for postmortem.

The tractor was seized and an investigation is on to ascertain the reason behind the accident.
