Traffic Cops Fine Godman Dhirendra Shastri & BJP MP Manoj Tiwari in Patna

Patna: Dhirendra Shastri, the self-proclaimed godman aka ‘Bageshwar Baba’ and BJP MP Manoj Tiwari were fined by the traffic police in Patna for not wearing seat belts. Both were fined Rs 1000 for their traffic rule violation on May 13.

Dhirendra Shastri reached Patna on May 13. The BJP MP Manoj Tiwari drove the self-styled godman in his SUV from the Patna airport to a hotel. During the drive, none of the two wore their seat belts.

The CCTV footage scanned by police showed the two men in the vehicle without wearing seat belts. The SUV had a registration number of Madhya Pradesh.

After investigation, both were fined by Patna police. In case the fine is not paid within 90 days from the date of issuance, the traffic police will recommend the transport department to put the concerned vehicle on black list.
