Two Killed, Two Injured In Road Accident In Keonjhar

Keonjhar: A person was killed while another sustained critical injuries in a road accident near Champua police station in Keonjhar district on Tuesday night.

The deceased persons have been identified as Binod Barik and Niladri Ghana of Koida police limits. The two injured persons have been transferred to Keonjhar District Headquarters Hospital (DHH).

According to reports, the incident occurred while they were returning from a wedding party in Jharkhand when the driver of the SUV lost control over the wheels and hit a roadside tree. Subsequently, two died on the spot while two sustained grievous injuries.

The investigation is underway by the Champua police. Further detailed report awaited in this regard.
