Unbelievable! Girl Swallows Mobile Phone after Quarrel with Brother; Removed through 2-Hr Surgery

Bhopal: It may sound unbelievable, but an 18-year-old girl swallowed a mobile phone during a quarrel with her brother in Madhya Pradesh’s Bhind. The girl was immediately rushed to a hospital for emergency surgery.

The swallowed mobile phone could be taken out of her body through surgery. The surgery continued for over two hours. Luckily the condition of the girl was stable after this long surgery to recover the mobile phone from her stomach.

The girl gulped the mobile phone in anger. But immediately after that she developed extreme pain. She was taken to Jairogya Hospital in Gwalior on Friday, reported India Today. The operation had to be conducted immediately to save her life.

The doctors treating her had also never encountered such an incident. They were taken aback at the unfolding of events and noted the circumstance was a rare one.
