Unidentified Gunmen Shot Dead Manmohan Singh in Pakistan’s Peshawar

A Sikh trader named Manmohan Singh was shot dead by unidentified bike riders in Pakistan’s Peshawar on Saturday night, reported Express Tribune.

Manmohan Singh was targeted by the bike-borne assailants at around 8 pm while he was returning home. The culprits managed to escape, leaving behind the lethally injured Sikh trader.

Attacks on Sikhs are on the rise in Pakistan. In Peshawar, another Sikh shopkeeper was targeted by unidentified gunmen on Friday. The victim was Tarlog Singh, a member of the Sikh community in Pakistan. Tarlog Singh was hit by a bullet in his leg.

Pakistan authorities have launched an investigation into the incidents. In March another Sikh shopkeeper was gunned down by unidentified gunmen in Peshawar. The victim was Dayal Singh.

In May of 2022, Dayal Singh’s two cousins, Ranjit Singh and Koljit Singh, were also killed.
