Unidentified Woman’s Body Found Inside a Sack in Balasore Dist

Balasore: The dead body of a woman was found inside a sack Benapura ghat of Subernarekha river under Basta police limits of Odisha’s Balasore district.

According to reports, some locals, who came to visit Rajghat and Baruni Mela which was organized on the banks of the Subernarekha river, spotted the sack with the dead body floating on the water. They immediately informed the local police about it.

On being informed, the police along with fire personnel reached the spot and recovered the sack. The cops found the body of an unidentified woman inside the sack.

The identity of the woman is not yet been ascertained. However, it is suspected that some unknown miscreants might have killed the woman and thrown her body into the matter.

The cops sent the body for autopsy and started a probe into the matter.
