Unruly passenger Opens Emergency Exit Door Cover of Indigo Flight

New Delhi: Putting life of all passengers in danger, a 40-year-old man on a Hyderabad-New Delhi IndiGo flight allegedly opened the cover of the emergency exit door of the plane during takeoff.

The incident occurred on July 8 on IndiGo flight 6E-5605. The police have lodged a case under Sections 336 of the Indian Penal Code and 22 of the Aircraft Rules against Hussain at IGI airport police station against the accused identified as Furoqon Hussain of Shahdara.

He allegedly pulled the ‘emergency exit’ cover during the takeoff of the flight.
