Leaders of Imran Khan’s party, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf, are sharing a video clip of PM Modi’s speech to slam the Shehbaz Sharif government for Pakistan’s financial crisis.
But ironically, PM Modi uttered these comments against the Pakistan government in 2019 when Imran Khan was in power as the Pak Prime Minister.
The video has been shared, among others, by Azam Khan Swati, former Pakistan minister and senior leader of the Imran Khan-led party.

Pakistani journalist Naila Inayat, however, pointed out the irony. “The funniest part, PTI sharing this to tell current govt, look what Modi is saying about you. While the clip is from April 2019 when Imran Khan was in government,” she tweeted.
"I compelled Pakistan to go around the globe with a begging bowl."
