Wildlife Smuggler Held With Leopard Hide In Rayagada

Rayagada: A team of STF have arrested a wildlife smuggler with the seizure of leopard hide during a raid at Rayagada – Koraput National Highway No. 326 in the district.

The wildlife criminal was identified as Dambrudhar Majhi of Naktiguda, Hundibora (Hundibar).

According to reports, the raid took place near Siriguda Swargadham square of Rayagada town and arrested the accused as he could not produce any authority in support of the possession of such Leopard Skins.

In this connection Special Task Force (STF) Case under Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972 was registered.
