Yeti Airlines Plane Crashed 10 seconds before Landing at Pokhara

The ill-fated plane of Yeti Airlines reportedly crashed just ten seconds prior to its landing at Pokhara International Airport. According to the Air Traffic Control (ATC) staff of the airport, at first, the pilot of the plane asked for a landing from the east, and permission was granted. The runway of Pokhara is built in the east-west direction.

Later on, for some reason, the pilot asked for permission to land from the west direction. He was again granted permission. But the plane could not land as it crashed only ten seconds before landing.

According to aviation experts, the weather condition was not bad in the Pokhara region when the crash occurred. The cause of the crash will be ascertained from the data retrieved from the blackbox.

This flight took off from Tribhuvan International Airport at 10:33 am today. 53 Nepalis, five Indians, four Russians, one Irish national, two Koreans, one Argentinian, and a French national were on board at the time of the mishap.
