5T Secretary VK Pandian Reviews Development Work Of Shikhar Chandi Temple

Bhubaneswar: Following orders from CM Naveen Patnaik, Secretary to  Chief Minister (5T) VK Pandian today visited Sikhar Chandi temple near Patia and reviewed developments of the shrine of the deity and peripheral development works including amenities for tourists and pilgrims and beautification of the Sikharchandi hill region.

The Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) is developing a blueprint of the overall developmental plans. This will enhance the recreational and amusement facilities for the visitors.

Secretary (5T) instructed officials to build an infrastructure that is in line with the nature, adventure sports, tracking, and viewpoint development in the hill and also instructed to plan for community infrastructure development at the foothills plain area of IDCO.

Pandian later visited the sites of the town planning scheme undertaken by BDA near Gothapatna and reviewed the updated status of the project along with the development of the ring road under the TP scheme.

Out of the total 45 town planning schemes planned, BDA has completed four town planning schemes along with the ring road. Secretary 5T also instructed officials to make speedy progress on road, water, electricity infrastructure and other related development works. He also instructed BDA officials to make the project successful with the help of feedback from the landowners.
