Biswa Bhusan Harichandan Is New Governor of Chhattisgarh

Vizag/New Delhi: President Droupadi Murmu on Sunday appointed Biswa Bhusan Harichandan as the next Governor of Chhattisgarh. Harichandan is currently serving as Governor of Andhra Pradesh.

The President accepted the resignations of Bhagat Singh Koshyari as Governor of Maharashtra and of Radha Krishnan Mathur as Lt. Governor of Ladakh and appointed 13 new Governors.

As per the appointments, Harichandan has been appointed to serve as the Governor of Chhattisgarh.

Lt. General Kaiwalya Trivikram Parnaik, PVSM, UYSM, YSM (Retired) will be appointed Governor of Arunachal Pradesh.
