BJD To Launch ‘Paribar Sampark Yatra’ In Odisha Tomorrow Ahead Of Elections

Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) is set to kick off a new initiative tomorrow, the ‘Paribar Sampark Yatra’ (family contact drive), coinciding with Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s birth anniversary. Following the success of the ‘Ghare Ghare Sankha’ and ‘Jana Sampark Padayatra’ programs, this campaign will run until the birth anniversary of the esteemed leader and former Chief Minister, Biju Patnaik, on March 5.

During this drive, BJD leaders and workers will extensively engage with families across the state, focusing on highlighting the achievements of the Naveen Patnaik government. The primary objective is to connect with voters, understand their concerns, and communicate the party’s welfare measures effectively.

The initiative also serves as a comprehensive assessment tool for the ruling party, allowing them to gauge their strength, gather feedback, and address local issues. This approach aims to empower grassroots-level workers and fortify the party organization in preparation for the imminent Lok Sabha and state Assembly elections.

Originally slated for the party’s foundation day, the program has been strategically timed to strategically align with key events and milestones. BJD leaders have been assigned specific responsibilities for effective execution, ensuring that local issues receive due attention throughout the initiative.
