Heatwave Update: Bhubaneswar Sizzles At 30°C At 5.30 Am, Humidity At 88%

Bhubaneswar:  The state capital city Bhubaneswar recorded 30°C by 5.30 am on Monday, while the humidity level stood at 88%.

The regional office of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that hot and discomfort weather would likely continue for two more days.

Meanwhile, the IMD has issued orange and yellow warnings for the heatwave to severe heatwave conditions at one or two places in Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Sonepur, Boudh, Bolangir, and Keonjhar districts on Monday. A yellow warning for heatwave conditions has been issued for Sundargarh, Nuapada, Kandhamal, and Mayurbhanj districts.

The weather office said that thunderstorms with lightning are also likely at one or two places in Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Keonjhar, and Mayurbhanj districts on Monday.
