IMD Predicts Rain, Thundershower in Several Odisha Districts Over Next 6 Days

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department’s regional centre in Bhubaneswar has forecasted rainfall activities in several districts of Odisha from February 22 to February 28, with no significant synoptic system over the region.

According to their mid-day bulletin, minimum temperatures have experienced changes in various districts, with appreciable falls in South Interior Odisha, rises in North Coastal Odisha and no significant changes elsewhere.

Temperatures are expected to remain relatively stable over the next few days, with hot weather conditions persisting in coastal parts till tomorrow.

Bhubaneswar recorded the highest maximum temperature at 37.0°C, while Phulbani in the plains of Odisha recorded the lowest minimum temperature at 15.0°C.

The weather forecast for the next two days indicates dry weather prevailing over Odisha on Wednesday. However, on Thursday, light rain is expected in select districts including Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, and Jajpur, while the rest of the districts are likely to remain dry.
