Indian Youths Truly Need To Reinvigorate Values From Country’s Culture: Rohit Singh

Bhubaneswar: India desperately needs to reinvigorate its values on the path of Lord Ram, Avimanyu and Indian youths need to create high moral standards to fight hard, said Yuva Chetna Manch organisation’s national co-ordinator Rohit Singh.

In a special tate-a-tate with Odisha Bhaskar Managing Director Mr Madhusudan Mohanty, Rohit Singh exhorted the youth to innovate in order to bring the next generation of ethical and cultural revolution.

“The knowledge contained in our history. India is such a land where Pandit Chandra Shekhar Azad, Ram Prasad Bismil, Bhagat Singh and Ashfaqullah Khan took birth and we are proud of our land that we worship Guru Govind Singh for his bravery and Dr Kalam for his contribution to Indian Science. These people must be the source of inspiration for the youth. By adopting the valuable teachings from their life, one can successfully make the right choices. Our country never patronised Aurangjeb or Afzal Guru ideologies,” said Rohit Singh.

Answering a counter question from Mr Mohanty on religion and youth power, Singh said, “Our society realizes the strong value system that revolves around Lord Ram. Hinduism is not about “religious identity” but about “the values and teachings”. Our country always worshipped Veer Abdul Hamid, and will always remember Bhagat Singh’s contribution to our independence. The foremost religion of everyone in India must be the constitution and it must reflect in our work.”

Speaking on the Indian education system, Singh opined that one must read the history of own land first and there should not be any issue if Veer Savarkar’s history is being taught instead of Aurangjeb.

“Today in the politics of India, only the elderly are dominated and only a few young people are in politics. One of the reasons for this is that the political atmosphere in India is deteriorating day by day and true politicians have been replaced by people greedy for power and wealth, which is also part of nepotism. In politics, the feeling of patriotism has been replaced by familism, casteism and sect. The way the tales of corruption of politicians are coming out every day, indifference towards politics is increasing among the youth of the country,” added Rohit Singh to the question of Mr Mohanty on political nepotism issue.

“Constitution never suppresses the true voice of Indian citizens. If such things would have happened in Pakistan or North Korea, then Indian ideology would never exist for such a long time. We have a constitution which provides freedom of speech and expression for everyone and just because of this, we, sitting in Delhi are watching Odisha’s issues through your digital channel. And I would like to say, Odisha Bhaskar has reached its peak to express actual freedom of speech,” he said.

“I am deeply connected to Odisha. Odisha holds a special place in the hearts of all Indians. Youth support in Odisha will further strengthen the youth consciousness. The youth of India is ready for a new youth revolution. Sadly, some are stopping them. The youth of India settle abroad rather than contribute to India,” Singh concluded.
