Jagatsinghpur Youth Killed In Fatal Road Accident

Jagatsinghpur: A young man was crushed to death by a speeding bus at Jagatsinghpur’s Mandal Chhak on Jagatsinghpur-Nuagaon road. He was run over by a private passenger bus.

The deceased was identified as Roshan Ray, a local inhabitant.

Eyewitnesses who saw the road accident narrated the gory visual of the mishap. Roshan was travelling on his bike when a private bus hit him. Driver of the bus did not stop the vehicle even after the accident. He preferred to speed away from the spot. As a result, the wheels of the bus crushed the body of the ill-fated youth.

A state of chaos ensued as the locals protested the youth’s death, denying police access to the body while the corpse was still on the road. Consequently, general traffic movement was heavily affected.

However, things calmed down after the police were able to pacify the locals and promised immediate action against the perpetrator.
