JNU Odisha Alumni Share Experiences, Celebrate Alma Mater at Annual Convention

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha chapter of the Alumni Association of JNU (AAJO) brought together 220 proud alumni for their annual meet at the Geeta Govinda Sadan in Bhubaneswar today. The event, inaugurated by Hon’ble Minister Ashok Chandra Panda, was a vibrant celebration of shared experiences and enduring bonds forged at the esteemed university.

Notable attendees included Vice Chancellor of JNU, Smt Santishree Dhulipudi Pandit, who graced the event as the Chief Guest.

Eminent former students of JNU, including the likes of Asit Kumar Tripathy (Ex-Chief Secretary), Smt Sujata Rout Kartikeyan (Commissioner cum Secretary) Prof Amarendra Mishra (Ex-VC of Khalikote University) Prof Asha Hans, Soumyajit Pattnaik (Chief Editor of Kalinga TV) and Dr Ambika Nanda (Head CSR Tata Steel) were also present. Each distinguished guest was felicitated, and they graciously shared their experiences with approximately 220 former JNUites in attendance.

During the event, the souvenir for the year 2024 was unveiled. The President, Secretary, and all members of the executive committee of AAJO expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the guests and participants for contributing to the success of the event.
