Let’s Remember Our Commitment To Make Dream Envisage In Proper Direction: Odisha Bhaskar MD’s New Year Advice

Bhubaneswar: Visionary people face problems. But rather than getting paralyzed, they immediately commit themselves to finding a solution. This was said by Odisha Bhaskar Managing Director, Sri Madhu Mohanty on the eve of New Year 2023.

In a bid to celebrate the English New Year, one of the leading dailies and digital platforms of the state, Odisha Bhaskar organised a meeting on Saturday on its office premises.

The meeting started with a welcome note from Odisha Bhaskar CEO, Kaustav Das. Along with Madhu Mohanty, Odisha Bhaskar daily, Editor-in-Chief, Pradosh Pattnaik and Odisha Bhaskar Digital Director Tilakraj Mohanty were part of this august gathering.

This is one of the rarest occasions for the entire Odisha Bhaskar family that Mr Mohanty, graced the evening and interacted with his team.

While speaking on this occasion, the media baron, Mr Mohanty said that Odisha Bhaskar shouldered the responsibility of free and fair media journalism and keeping up with the trust of the people of the State as the popular news channel.

“Sitting over here, let us remember our commitment to make our dream envisage in a proper direction, with the dedicated spirit of achieving excellence. I am sure, my colleagues cum my dear friends would make use of these grand opportunities as they joined us with objectivity and responsibility, further strengthening our organisation,” Mr Mohanty said.

Quoting former President APJ Abdul Kalam, Mr Mohanty said, “In life and in a boxing ring, the defeat is not declared when you fall down. It is declared only when you refuse to get up. A visionary man never gives up his credibility. You all are my favourites because you people never let my vision down. It happens. Sometimes we make mistakes and rectify them. But learning from those mistakes is the key factor, which will make our dream fulfilled.”

“We have also seen the worst days of our organisation but with the effort to present true and high-quality news, Odisha Bhaskar has come a long way and continues to be an undisputed leader in the field of news reporting. Since its inception, it has transformed from newspaper to digital. It has been standing firmly beside the people in all seasons and has become the voice of the suppressed,” he added.

“You can not be casual at work when you have the responsibility of around 2000 people on you. It is not only my responsibility, but it must also be a vow for everyone present over here. Proper workplace etiquette with discipline is always welcome and you should be committed to it. Wishing you a very happy new year and this year our pledge must be to strengthen our responsibility, duty and personality,” he advised Odisha Bhaskar employees.

Mr Mohanty greeted all members of the Odisha Bhaskar family on New Year’s Eve nd called on them to resolve to rededicate themselves to the unity, integrity and inclusive development of the organisation.

Concluding the meeting, Odisha Bhaskar Digital Manager, Abinash Kumar Dhal presented the vote of thanks.

It is pertinent to mention here that Odisha Bhaskar is set to launch its Hindi national channel, named Saugandh TV, which will be operating from its New Delhi office.
