Naba Das Murder: CB Gets Another 5-Day Remand Of ‘Killer’ Cop

Jharsuguda: The JMFC court in Jharsuguda on Thursday allowed Crime Branch (CB) to take Gopal Das, the lone accused in Odisha Health Minister Naba Das’ assassination case, on remand for another five days.

The JMFC court cognizance court in Jharsuguda today allowed police to take Das on remand for narco & polygraph tests.

The court had earlier allowed the Crime Branch to take the accused on a four-day remand for interrogation.

Notably, the accused ASI had opened fire on the Health Minister during an event at Brajarajnagar in Jharsuguda district on January 29. The minister succumbed to his injuries while being treated at a private hospital here on the same day.
