Odisha: I-T Department Raids Multiple Locations of Alcohol Distillery Firm for Suspected Tax Evasion

Bhubaneswar: Income Tax Department officials conducted simultaneous raids on multiple locations associated with Boudh Distillery Private Limited (BDPL) over suspected tax evasion. The operations spanned Boudh, Bolangir, Rayagada, and Sambalpur, including registered offices in Kolkata and Ranchi.

The BDPL group, headquartered in Odisha, operates various business divisions such as Baldeo Sahu Infra Private Limited (Fly Ash Bricks), Kwality Bottlers Private Limited (IMFL Bottling), and Kishore Prasad Bijay Prasad Beverages Private Limited (Sales & Marketing of IMFL brands).

Residences of Directors and the Managing Director were also targeted in the raids. While ongoing, the exact extent of tax evasion remains undisclosed. Stay tuned for updates on this developing situation.
