Odisha Effects Minor Reshuffle In IPS Cadre

Bhubaneswar: In a minor reshuffle, Odisha Home Department effected the promotion of two senior IPS officers to IGP rank.

The Home Department issued a notification on Friday in this connection.

IPS JN Pankaj and Sanjeev Arora have been promoted to IGP- Rank 14. Pankaj has been posted in SITU till further orders.

Similarly, Arora who is on his Central deputation has been allowed Performa promotion to the grade of IG.

In pursuance of another DO, issued by the Home Department, IPS Akhileswar Singh, Brijesh Kumar Rai and Charan Singh Meena have been promoted to the grade of DIG of Police with effect from January 1. They are posted in situ, until further orders, said the notification.

Apart from it, the government made a major reshuffle in the SP cadre today. The order read, Sudhanshu Shekhar Mishra, at present SP Balasore has been posted as SP Angul. Rahul PR who is working as SP Jajpur has been transferred as SP Jagatsinghpur. SP Angul, Jagamohan Meena has been posted as SP Ganjam. SP Dhenkanal, L Divya has been posted as SP Vigilance.

Similarly, SP Nuapada, Pratyush Diwakar is transferred and posted as SP, Sundargarh. Kandhamal SP, Vinit Agarwal is transferred and posted as SP, Jajpur.SP, Koraput, Varun Guntupali is posted as SP Bhadrak.Sagarika Nath who is SP Sundaragarh is transferred and posted as SP, Balasore.

Apart from it, SDPO, Baliguda, Gundala Reddy(IPS) is transferred as SP, Nuapada. SDPO, Malkangiri, Subhendu Patra is posted as SP, Kandhamal. SDPO, Kesinga Abhinav Sonkar is posted as SP Koraput and Gyana Ranjan Mohapatra OPS, at present SP, Special Branch is transferred and posted as SP, Dhenkanal.
