Odisha Govt Effects Minor Reshuffle in OAS Cadre

Bhubaneswar: In a minor reshuffle announced on Tuesday, the Odisha government transferred three senior officers belonging to the Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) cadre.

The notification, issued by the General Administration & Public Grievances (GA&PG) department, detailed the new postings for the transferred officials.

Bhairab Singh Patel, previously serving as Additional Secretary in the School and Mass Education department, has been appointed as the Private Secretary to the Minister of Rural Development, Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water.

Rama Chandra Soren, who was working with the Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA) in Jeypore, will now serve as the Private Secretary to the Minister of Housing & Urban Development and Public Enterprises.

Biswajit Das, formerly the Sub Collector of Bhawanipatna, has been assigned the role of Private Secretary to the Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Higher Education, Sports & Youth Services, Odia Language, Literature & Culture.
