Odisha Govt To Distribute 30 Lakh National Flags Free Of Cost

Bhubaneswar: In a bid to mark the celebration of India’s 75th Independence Day, the Odisha Government has decided to distribute 30 lakh National Flags among the people free of cost.

The state government has handed over this responsibility to over 4000 women of various Mission Shakti self-help groups (SHGs). They have engaged to stitch the huge volume of flags for the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign of the Centre.

‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ is a campaign under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to encourage people to bring the Tiranga home and to hoist it to mark the 75th year of India’s independence.
