One Dead, 3 Critical As Car Overturns On Bolangir-Tikrapada Road

Bolangir: At least one person was killed while three others sustained critical injuries in a road mishap under Deogaon Police Limit in Bolangir district late last night.

The deceased has been identified as Kulamani Nayak.

According to reports, Kulamani along with three of his friends was returning to their village at Desandha last night when the SUV they were travelling overturned near Kudasingha on Bolangir-Tikrapada road. Following the incident, Kulamani died on the spot while three others, Banamali Meher, Ranka Meher and Swayamvar Meher sustained serious injuries.

The trio was later rescued and rushed to Bhima Bhoi hospital for treatment. On the other hand, Deogaon Police have registered a case and initiated a probe.
