OSSC CGL Prelim Exam On May 14; Here’s Everything You Need To Know

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Staff Selection Commission has released the complete schedule for the conduct of the Preliminary Examination of Combined Graduate Level Recruitment Examination (CGLRE)-2022.

The Preliminary Examination for recruitment to the post of CGLRE 2022 will be held on 14.05.2023 (Sunday) in one sitting through OMR mode in all district headquarters across Odisha.

As per the programme, the preliminary examination will consist of 150 questions (150 marks, 2.30 hours duration). The examination will be conducted from 10 am to 12.30 pm while the reporting time is 8.30 am.

The commission said there will be negative marking @0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

Steps to Apply for OSSC CGL Recruitment 2023

  • Visit the official website of OSSC.
  • Click On the “Apply Online” button on the Homepage/ (in case of the new user) Click on “New User”, a user id and password will be generated
  • Login with Registration ID & Password
  • Read all the instructions carefully before starting the Application process
  • Fill in all the details carefully that are required
  • Pay the application fee, if applicable
  • Submit the online application form before last date.

OSSC CGL 2023 Selection Process

The selection of the candidates for Odisha CGL Group B & C posts will be done through the Preliminary examination and Mains examination. The candidates who qualify in the OSSC CGL Mains exam will be called for Certification verification before final selection.

OSSC CGL Recruitment 2023 Salary

The initial OSSC CGL salary for the candidates selected for Group B & C posts is Rs. 25,300/- per month and will subsequently increase as per performance and duration. Besides the OSSC CGL Remuneration, the employees will be provided with allowances including DA, HRA, etc.
